After Jersey Shore star Jenni “JWoww” Farley married professional wrestler Zack Carpinello in a surprise wedding, the couple exclusively told E! News what made their ceremony “perfect.”
Jenni “JWoww” Farley is leaning into life’s most important pillars: Gym, tan and love.
After all, the Jersey Shore star gathered her closest friends and family for her surprise wedding to Zack Carpinello on June 24.
“What made our wedding so special wasn't the details, it was the people,” Farley and Carpinello exclusively told E! News in a June 25 statement. “Having our children, family, and closest friends by our side made the day more meaningful than we ever imagined.”
The newlyweds added, “It was intimate, emotional, and absolutely perfect for us.”
And not only was Farley joined by her and ex Roger Mathews’ kids Meilani, 11, and Greyson, 10, but her fellow Jersey Shore castmates Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Sammi Giancola, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Deena Cortese Buckner were also in attendance for the festivities.
Plus, the wedding day was made even more special because of the bait-and-switch Farley and Carpinello pulled, initially inviting 50 of their friends and family for a special screening of her new film Nanny Cam.
But upon arrival at the Madison Modern Social in Old Bridge, N.J., guests learned they had been duped.
"We’ve spent months keeping this secret, creating invitations, planning the movie-themed details and building the surprise,” Farley and Carpinello told People in an interview published June 24. “Seeing our family and friends go from thinking they’re attending a special screening for Nanny Cam to realizing they’re actually at our wedding will be a moment we’ll never forget."
In the end, though, Farley wanted her wedding day to capture the spirit of her relationship with her husband.
"More than anything, we wanted the day to feel authentic to us,” she added. “The surprise element, the family focus, and the intimate guest list all allowed us to create something personal and meaningful."
