Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's 19-year-old son Liam—the eldest of their five kids—showed off his colorful punk rock hairstyle and outfit in prom photos.
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's son Liam is thinking pink.
The 19-year-old son of the former couple—who are also parents to kids Stella, 17, Hattie, 14, Finn, 13 and Beau, 9—recently attended high school prom while sporting stylish pink hair.
In an Instagram photo shared by McDermott on June 16, Liam and his prom date matched each other to a tee by accenting their hot pink-streaked hair with red and black formal wear. The teen completed his look by rocking a maroon button-up, a black scarf and a gothic-inspired rose boutonniere to complement his date’s punk rock jewelry.
But Liam’s prom wasn’t the only milestone for the family. As McDermott, 59, noted in his post, his daughter Stella also recently had her high school prom, which came amid her 18th birthday celebrations and her graduation.
"Enjoying some down time after a busy week," the Chopped Canada host wrote in the caption of his post. "1 birthday 2 Proms 1 graduation and 1 learning lesson."
Also sharing a photo of Stella’s prom look—a strapless pink gown with glamorous beading—as well as a snapshot from her commencement ceremony, McDermott added, “I’m so very proud of you all."
And the festivities were much welcomed following a scary car accident that Spelling and four of her kids dealt with earlier this year. In April, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum and her little ones were hospitalized after what Spelling described as a “crazy, crazy fast” driver striking the side of her car.
“I just wanted to reach out to everyone and this took me a bit to post this because as most of you know, four of my kids and I and three of their friends were in a car accident a few days before Easter in Temecula," Spelling explained April 7 on Instagram of the accident. "We’re okay, but it’s been really overwhelming. We are so grateful and so lucky because it could have been so much worse.”
Staying positive, the 53-year-old continued, "I’m just really grateful that in a split second, guardian angels were definitely with us that day."
Fortunately, Spelling and her family recovered in time to ring in Mother’s Day. As seen in a May 10 Instagram video, the actress was surprised with flowers as she spent the holiday with her children, including a blue-haired Liam.
Spelling wrote in the caption, “All my favorite Mother’s Day loves.”
