Cyberpunk 2077 is a game anyone can play for hundreds of hours and still never get bored. The sheer amount of content on offer, from developer-created quests to fan-made mods and all the roleplaying possibilities inbetween is utterly astounding and a clear showcase of exactly why Cyberpunk 2077 remains one of the greatest open-world games of all time. That being said, eventually, a slight twinge of boredom may begin to creep in, at which point players will undoubtedly begin looking for new content.

Fortunately, Cyberpunk 2077's recently released DLC offered fans what they have been searching for years, and it couldn't have gone down better. What was initially thought to be a subpar extension of the Cyberpunk 2077 experience has blossomed into a truly exceptional experience that will stick with fans for quite some time. Indeed, this DLC is so good, according to fans, at least, that it sounds as if everyone should rush out and start playing it.

Cyberpunk 2077's recent crossover with Wuthering Waves is so good and so substantial that many are calling it the next piece of DLC. What many had anticipated would be a simple cash grab that utilized the Cyberpunk brand to sell more skins has turned out to be a meaningful and highly emotional experience for most fans who've played it. This is, in large part, thanks to the new ending it gives Cyberpunk 2077, one that rather neatly concludes the stories established in the canonical Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime.

Of course, it is no surprise, really, that the Wuthering Waves Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration is amazing. It was created by Kuro Games but with direct supervision from CD Projekt Red. The Polish studio has had a hand in every piece of extended Cyberpunk 2077 media, from the novel spin-offs to the comics, and has ensured that it all meets the high standard established by the game (at least post-patch 2.0). Still, it has been refreshing for fans to see such a premium cross-promotion experience, as evidenced by just how much they've been praising it.

In a Reddit thread dedicated to dishing out endless praise for the Wuthering Waves Cyberpunk 2077 crossover, users have been posting about just how impressed they've been with what is on offer. The original poster, user Repulsive-Habit-8423, stated that "the amount of dedication that went to this collab is actually insane," which was parroted by user hikkenace, who wrote, "this collab is so well done, I’m honestly stunned." The praise continues with user Valentine_343 giving it a rather high score, explaining that "the story, quality, pacing, and character portrayal was excellent, 9/10."

Even those who were slightly critical of the somewhat exorbitant pricing for the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners-themed skins managed to say nice things about it. There are even Wuthering Wave-specific players who don't seem to mind the temporary Cyberpunk intrusion, with user mraz_syah writing, "never watch Cyberpunk, it makes me want to watch the anime." For anyone still sitting on the fence, unsure of whether to play this huge DLC-sized Cyberpunk 2077 crossover, it is clearly a phenomenal time and a wonderful tribute to the game and anime.
