CBS’ “The Young and the Restless“/”Beyond the Gates” crossover resulted in strong ratings for “Beyond the Gates” the week of June 8. The show averaged 1.8 million viewers throughout the week, up 11% from its season-to-date numbers — making it the third most-watched week for the soap since “Beyond the Gates” premiered in February 2025.

Meanwhile, “The Young and the Restless” also saw a slight uptick during the week of June 8, with 3.11 million viewers — up 2% from its season average (3.06 million viewers) thanks to a visit from guest stars Shemar Moore and Vivica A. Fox.

The “Beyond the Gates” crossover, first announced in January, centered on six characters from “Young and the Restless” (Eric Braeden, Michael Mealor, Peter Bergman, Susan Walters, Melissa Ordway and Bryton James) appearing for the multi-episode event.

As a result, “Beyond the Gates” scored its most-watched Thursday (on June 11, 1.83 million viewers, up 11% from the previous week) and Friday (June 12, 1.84 million viewers, up 11% from the previous week) ever.

The show’s Tuesday (June 9, 1.80 million viewers, up 16% from the same day in 2025) was its most-watched Tuesday since February 24, and its Wednesday (June 10, 1.87 million viewers — up 17% from the previous week) was its most-watched Tuesday since Feb. 24.

Here was the logline for the crossover: “Longtime friends Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis, ‘Beyond the Gates’) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden, ‘The Young and the Restless’) reunite at a high-profile political fundraiser, with the event transporting six iconic residents from Y&R’s Genoa City that included Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) into BTG’s posh gated community, Fairmont Crest, culminating in a shocking tornado.”

As for “The Young and the Restless,” Moore and Fox appeared on the June 8 and June 9 episodes. The Monday, June 8, episode averaged 3.2 million viewers — up 9% from the same day in 2025, and the Tuesday, June 9, episode averaged 3.01 million viewers.
