CAA’s Head of Nashville Music Jeff Krones has helped shape the booking agency’s presence in Music City for more than two decades, working with many artists on CAA’s Nashville roster, which includes Keith Urban, Garth Brooks, Ty Myers, Brandi Carlile and Willie Nelson.

When the CAA Creative Office Building officially opens on July 6, Krones and his team will have a new space aimed at further servicing artists ranging from newcomers to superstars. Located at 955 Church Street, the new offices will encompass 75,000 square feet across two floors at Nashville Yards, which is also home to live music and entertainment promoter AEG Presents and entertainment venue The Pinnacle. CAA has had a consistent presence in Nashville since 1991, with its former Nashville office having been located at Truist Plaza since 2011.

“This space works equally well for everyone we serve,” Krones said via email of the new CAA Nashville space. “A brand new artist who just moved to Nashville can walk in and feel like they belong somewhere. A superstar who needs privacy and discretion has a place where that’s respected. That range is something we’re really proud of.”

Approximately 160 CAA employees spanning Global Touring, Music Brand Partnerships, Tour Marketing, Creators, Baseball, Football, Coaches, Brand Consulting, Property Sales and CAA ICON will work from the new Nashville office, which is designed to serve as both a workplace and a gathering space for artists, managers, labels, brands and industry partners.

In addition to offices and meeting rooms, the new offices feature a listening lounge for previewing new music, a speakeasy-style area for quiet conversations, a patio for casual gatherings, a social hub, a space for acoustic performances and several wellness rooms, including one equipped with glam stations.

“The space wasn’t designed as a traditional venue — it was designed to be flexible,” Krones says. “We want to bring people to us, including labels, managers, artists, tastemakers, and create genuine moments of discovery and connection. Nashville is a city built on relationships, and this space gives us a home to cultivate those in a way that feels natural and authentic to what this city is about.”

For Krones, the office’s location inside Nashville Yards is about more than convenience.

“Proximity to live music infrastructure is always a good thing for our clients and our team. But honestly, what excites us most about this location is what it represents for Nashville as a whole,” Krones says. “This city is growing in a way that few could have predicted, and Nashville Yards is at the center of that. We work closely with all of our promoter partners to deliver the best possible outcomes for our artists, and being embedded in a development that takes live entertainment seriously only strengthens those relationships across the board. At the end of the day, it’s about putting our clients in the best position to succeed — and this location does that.”

CAA Nashville’s music roster also includes Jelly Roll, Tate McRae, Nickelback, Cody Johnson, Kelsea Ballerini, Maroon 5, Florida Georgia Line, The Chicks and NF, among others. CAA’s baseball division is headquartered in Nashville and Los Angeles and represents athletes including baseball superstar Shohei Ohtani and leading football quarterbacks Matthew Stafford, Josh Allen, Drake Maye, Bo Nix and Jaxson Dart. CAA represents the majority of the head football coaches in the SEC, including Vanderbilt’s Clark Lea. CAA also represents 13 NBA head coaches.

The new office creates many opportunities for cross-agency collaboration.

“That proximity changes how you work together day to day. It’s running into each other, sharing ideas and building relationships organically,” Krones says. “We believe deeply in the connection between music and sports. A 20-year-old baseball player and a 20-year-old aspiring artist aren’t that different. They’re both chasing something, both building a career, both trying to create moments that resonate with people… Nashville is a city that understands that connection intuitively. This space lets us bring it to life.”

He adds, “Nashville’s profile has never been higher, and brands want to be connected to this city and the artists coming out of it. Having a space that can host all of those conversations, from a first meeting with a new artist to a high-level brand partnership discussion, under one roof is a real advantage. We want every client who walks through the door to feel like this space was built for them, whether they’re just starting out or headlining stadiums.”
