Alan Ritchson looks like he could break you in half with a flick of his pinkie, but the most fun thing about the hulking action star is that he's actually really funny. See, before he was drinking his weight in coffee and pulling the world's tiniest cellphone from his boot in Reacher, he was causing chaos on a much sillier show, and that series has found a new audience.

Blue Mountain State, the cult college football comedy starring Ritchson, is seeing a streaming boost years after its original run ended, as the series is currently charting at No. 9 on Apple TV’s PVOD Top 10 after previously sitting at No. 8, and it's also trending in territories where available, including Germany and Canada. Pretty decent return for a show that faded away a decade ago. But the timing might make a lot of sense.

Ritchson previously teased the possibility of a Blue Mountain State revival in early 2025, with later reports suggesting that Amazon was looking to fast-track a fourth season. There hasn't yet been a major follow-up on casting or story details, but the original show getting renewed attention certainly won’t hurt its chances.

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You're a systems thinker who can't help but notice the seams in things.

The wasteland doesn't reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That's you.

You'd survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn't have it any other way.

Created byChris RomanoandEric Falconer,Blue Mountain Stateoriginally premiered on Spike in January 2010 and ran for three seasons. The series follows the football team at the fictional Blue Mountain State University, focusing on three incoming freshmen as they adjust to college life and football culture.

Ritchson played Kevin “Thad” Castle, the team’s wildly intense linebacker and leader. The cast also included Darin Brooks (The Bold and the Beautiful) as Alex Moran, Chris Romano (How I Met Your Mother) as Sammy Cacciatore, Page Kennedy (S.W.A.T.) as Radon Randell, Sam Jones III (Smallville) as Craig Shilo, Ed Marinaro (Hill Street Blues) as Coach Marty Daniels, Frankie Shaw (SMILF) as Mary Jo Cacciatore, Gabrielle Dennis (A Black Lady Sketch Show) as Denise Roy, and Denise Richards (Wild Things) as Debra Simon.

Ritchson will return later this year for Reacher Season 4 and has several film projects on the way, including Runner, a War Machine sequel, and a biopic about Navy SEAL Michael E. Thornton. He also recently signed a three-year first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios through his production company, Dancing Skeleton.
