The best boxers in the world travel to New York City, where Puerto Rican fighter Xander Zayas (23-0-0) defenses his WBO and WBA super welterweight titles against Philadelphia-born boxer Jaron “Boots” Ennis (35-0-0) in the main event on Saturday, June 27.
Zayas vs. Ennis pay-per-view event takes place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Coverage and prelims begin at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT, while the main event is set for 12 rounds starting around 10:47 p.m. ET/7:47 p.m. PT.
For the bout, there has been some heated words exchanged between the two boxers in the lead up to the big fight on Saturday. Zayas accuses Ennis of having a “padded” undefeated record because the Philadelphian selects his own bouts and boxers to fight, while Ennis sees the main event in Brooklyn as an opportunity to prove the naysayers wrong.
The pair also have different fighting styles, as Zayas opts for structured bouts with tactical strikes, while Ennis is chaotic and free-flowing in the ring. And although both fighters are undefeated, one of them is going to win (or draw), so you have to tune-in to DAZN to watch who claims victory in the bout.
